Free Solo — An audiovision suite.
A 2 minute audiovision recorded as a university project. Melody based on my characteristic nylon string guitar inspired by my latin roots. The picture is a still from the film Free Solo, which was the main inspiration for the piece. The music is meant to evoke the feeling of climbing and being exposed to vast heights, while also conveying a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.

Approach
How I work with sound.
Composition
Melody, harmony, and rhythm as a starting point — then taken apart and reassembled into something new. In love with guitar and piano.
Production
Ableton Live, Reaper, hardware synths, and a lot of deliberate restraint over what goes in and what stays out.
Mixing
Space, depth, and dynamics. A mix should feel as good as it sounds — and sound as good as it feels.
